Harder Walk
Ashey to Havenstreet

Alight from the Steam Train at Ashey; a peaceful rural halt.
Follow lanes and field paths, crossing the railway at Ashey Grounds Crossing before ascending gently onto the slopes of the Downs.
Pass Duxmore Farm, owned by the Hampshire and IOW Wildlife Trust, before continuing along the slopes of the Downs to Combley Farm. Finally, a long gravel track returns to Havenstreet Station.

The walk climbs onto the slopes of Ashey Down with some longer uphill sections.
Terrain
A mix of terrains: grassy fields and gravel tracks. Some sections may be muddy.
This walk also has a couple of stiles which may be an obstacle for some dogs and their owners.

Take the train from Havenstreet to Ashey (single journey).
